A similar ceremony was also held by the Ministry of Finance. Organised by the Human Resource Development and Corporate Affairs Division, the ceremony took place at the said ministry.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Second Minister of Finance. The ceremony included a special talk titled 'Hijrah Penyelamat Akidah', delivered by Awang Isham bin Ismail, Head of the Youth Religious Programme Secretariat, Islamic Da'wah Centre. It was part of the ministry's annual activity aimed at commemorating Ilal Hijrah aside from strengthening ties. Also present was Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance.
